Why this festival, and what vision of the world do we have in mind?
The Triplo Sound Festival is organized by TriploSound, a non-profit association dedicated to promoting the development, dissemination, and enhancement of musical, theatrical, and performative culture, and, more broadly, all forms of entertainment. This mission is combined with the promotion and development of the local territory, also on an international level. A founding principle of the association is its focus on environmental and social sustainability, considered an essential aspect of its growth.
Founded by passionate professionals from the worlds of music, art, business, and high-level consulting, TriploSound aims to create sustainable events that inspire participants through quality artistic and cultural offerings, while never neglecting entertainment and fun.
TriploSound is also a key member of the “Sound.” project, participating actively and centrally. The Sound. project seeks to establish a new model for music festivals and global events by engaging organizers in implementing innovative sustainability solutions, with the goal of generating lasting positive impact and tangible benefits for communities. By adopting an integrated approach, Sound. guides decision-making and event planning so that festivals actively contribute to the local economy, environmental protection, and social well-being. All this is done while promoting sustainable practices and providing an enjoyable, engaging experience for attendees.
In line with the project’s principles, the Triplo Sound Festival is designed and executed to highlight three main dimensions of interest, music (Sound-Talk), sustainability (Speech & Panels), and territory (Exhibitions in the Expo Halls and a widespread dimension throughout the city), offering music and performances both in the theater and around the city of Orvieto, alongside talks and discussions on environmental sustainability and future visions.
